Foxes Showing Rules

 

• Everybody mounted must wear protective headgear to at least PAS015 or EN1384 at all times.
• It is the responsibility of each competitor to enter the ring on time.  In the result of any class clashing it is your responsibility to inform the steward in the relevant ring of your whereabouts.  If a competitor does not inform the steward and is late for their class then it is the judges discretion as to whether they will allow you to enter the class or not.
• Entry fees will NOT be refunded under any circumstances.
• All stallions & colts must be bitted at all times and handled or ridden by an adult

(18 years and over on 1/1/10).  After each class they must be boxed.

No stallions can be tied to the outside of any horsebox. When handled outside of the horsebox they must be bitted, then put back into the horsebox when the class has finished.

• Any objection must be made in writing to the Secretary within 30 minutes of the end of the class together with £10. This will be returned if the objection is upheld.
• Riders must keep to the working in areas.  No galloping in the show field.
• No horse or pony under the age of four may be ridden.
• Age qualifying date for rider –1st January in the current year.
• The judge’s ruling on any matter in competition is final.
• Foxes Riding School reserve the right to alter and amend this schedule and amalgamate or divide classes at the discretion of the show organisers.
• No child under the age of 4 years may compete, ride or handle any horse or pony at any show.

• Foxes Riding School cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or accident to any person, horse, or vehicle.  You enter the show ground at your own risk.
