Showing Qualifiers 2010

Show Jumping Dressage Membership Form Members Points

Equifest - 23^rd May & 25^th July 2010

Classes 7, 8, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26 & 27 are Equifest qualifiers

Shows are affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England Showground on the 19^th – 22nd August 2010. The two highest exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify.

Veteran Horse Society - 23^rd May, 27^th June & 25^th July

Classes 39, 40, 41, 44, 45 & 46 are VHS qualifiers

The Veteran Horse Society Show Championship is open to BOTH MEMBERS & NON-MEMBERS of the Veteran Horse Society. Please note that ONLY Veteran Horse Society members are eligible to compete in the Regional Championship. Qualification cards will only be given to the first 3 Members with their V.H.S. membership/ horse registration cards/covering letter from National Show Office. The Regional winners will go on to compete at the Veteran Horse Society Showing Championship Supreme Final at Olympia in December.

No spurs, galloping or wearing of earrings permitted. Minimum age of handler for inhand classes is 9 years.

Uk Showing- 27^th June

All classes have UK Showing qualifiers except classes, 9, 25 & 31-35 inclusive

The winner or the highest placed rider in each class will qualify directly for Uk Showing Championship held at Bold Heath Equestrian Centre 10^th & 11^th July 2010

CHAPS - 23^rd May, 27^th June & 25^th July

Classes 26, 27, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 & 44 are CHAPS qualifiers

The above shows are affiliated to the Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Both owner and rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete, but in order to qualify they must both be showing members and the horse/pony must be registered with the society BEFORE this show for the qualification to be valid. Membership Cards & Qualification Cards must be produced in the ring, the latter being signed by the Judge in two places. These classes are also qualifiers for Ponies Uk Summer Championships, please refer to your CHAPS Handbook.

Trailblazers 23^rd May, 27^th June (Traiblazer 2^nd Round) 25^th July Qual 2011, 8^th Aug Qual 2011, 12^th Sept Qual 2011

All classes have Trailblazer qualifiers except class 9, 25, 28, 29 & 30-35 inclusive

Please note for Trailblazer qualifiers your veteran must be 16 yrs and over

The top three in each qualifier class will be given an invitation to purchase a 2^nd round card, which enables the competitor to enter any 2^nd round around the country. Each centre i.e Foxes Riding School, Osbaldeston etc who run 1^st rounds have to run one 2^nd round. Foxes 2^nd round is 27^th June. The top 6 in the 2^nd rounds qualify direct to the Trailblazers Championships, which is held at Stoneleigh in Warwickshire on Saturday 31^st July & Sunday 1^st August. This is a prestigious unaffiliated championship which is particularly well run.

NCPA – 25^th July, 8^th August & 12^th September (12^th September 2011 qualifiers)

Classes 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30, 36-46 are NCPA qualifiers

This show is a qualifier for the N.C.P.A. Pony of the Year Show and the Part Bred Welsh Ridden Championships to be held in conjunction with the Pony of the Year Show at Warren Farm Equestrian Centre, Formby, Merseyside L37 OAN on 5^th September 2010. First and second prize winners in appropriate classes will qualify and highest not qualified in the first six for Part Bred Welsh in appropriate classes.
