PLEASE READ THE DRESSAGE ENTRY CRITERIA CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING

Anyone found entering a class for which they are not eligible, will be eliminated



B1, Intro A & Intro B Dressage Test Rules
Any bits, martingales, brushing boots, and outside verbal assistance allowed

(your instructor/helper can teach you throughout the test!)
Juniors on the lead rein is acceptable in this class
It is not compulsory for the rider to wear a show jacket
Open to rider/horse combination who have never been placed 1st - 3rd in any dressage class run under British Dressage Rules
Competitors after wining 2 of these B1 or Intro A or Intro B classes must move on to B2 or Preliminary level.
This class is aimed for the young / green horse or less experienced rider. A great introduction to dressage!
Competitors may compete in B1/Intro A/Intro B as well as Prelim classes on the same day.

B2 Dressage Test Rules
Any bits, martingales, brushing boots, verbal outside assistance allowed (your instructor/helper can teach you throughout the test!)
Juniors on the lead rein is acceptable in this class. Make sure the leader can run fast!!
It is not compulsory for the rider to wear a show jacket
Open to riders/horse combinations who have never been placed 1st in a dressage class run under british dressage rules
When a competitor has won 2 of the B2 classes they must move on to Preliminary Tests
The class is aimed at young/green horses, or a less experienced rider. A great introduction to dressage
Competitors may compete in B2 as well as Prelim level on the same day


Juniors
Riders up to 16 years of age and not to have attained their 17th Birthday by the first day of the Trailblazer National Championships Junior Dressage (which is on Tues 3rd Aug 2011)
Riders scoring 58% or more qualify for the Trailbazer 2nd Round
Run under British Dressage Rules


Prelim Restricted
Any bits and martingales allowed
Open to riders who have never been placed 1st in any dressage competition run under British Dressage Rules before
Horse must not have gained any British Dressage Points
Horses must not currently or previously (in the past 12 months) have been registered with the British Dressage
Once a combination of horse and rider has won two of these classes they must move onto the Prelim Open
Riders will not qualify for the Trailblazer championships


Prelim Open
Open to any Senior rider
Horses must not have gained any British dressage points
Those who score over 58% will qualify for the Trailblazer 2nd Round
Run under British Dressage Rules


Novice
Open to any rider
Horses must not have gained more than 35 British Dressage Points
Riders who score 58% or more will qualify for the Trailblazer 2nd Round
Run under British Dressage Rules


Elementary
Open to any rider
Horses must not have gained more than 95 British Dressage Points
Run under British Dressage Rules
