VHD=Veteran Horse Dressage Quals 

VHD has invited Foxes Riding School to run qualifiers for the Veteran Horse Dressage Area qualifiers 2011, aimed exclusively at veteran horses and ponies promoting the status, value and welfare of veterans across the country. VHD series is the only affiliated series dedicated solely to veteran horse/ponies that supports the Registered Charity Veteran Horse Welfare: Charity No1104072 . VHD holds a yearly National championships which attracts excellent support. There is no other class in the world that compares to our veteran classes which makes it unique and a much sort after qualifier.
Qualification Rules : The 3 highest competitors with a horse or pony of 15years of age and over gaining a 60% test score and above will qualify straight to the National Finals on the 17th/18th Sept at Rodbaston College in Staffordshire. There are 3 qualification cards available in each section.

Qualifiers will be held at Preliminary- Novice- Elementary- Medium –Advanced-Medium Advanced levels and can be incorporated into your dressage classes eliminating the need to hold a separate class.

Beaver Hall Championships Qualifiers

Foxes Riding School has been chosen to run qualifiers for Beaver Hall Dressage Championships. Those riders placed 1st to 3rd in the senior and junior sections in each class running qualifiers with a score of over 60%. Classes they can enter are

Have A Go –Walk/Trot Test (Intro A) Open to combinations that have never been placed in any dressage competition before 2011. Suitable for riders wanting a go but have never tried.
Green Horse / Pony 6yrs & under
Starters Prelim not to have been placed 1-4 in any open class during the previous season .
Starters Novice not to have any BD Points & not to have been placed in any open class above novice during the previous season
Veteran Horse / Pony 15yrs & over
Open Prelim- not to have more than 37 BD Points
Open Novice – not to have more than 74 BD Points
Open Elem-
Open Med

Trailblazers Dressage Championships


Foxes Riding School is the only centre on the Wirral running Trailblazer Qualifiers. Those who score 58% or more in the Trailblazer Qualifier classes at Prelim & Novice level qualify for the 2nd round at that level. Foxes Riding Schools 2nd Round is Friday (Bank Hol.) 22nd April 2011. The juniors (16 yrs and under on 01.08.11) and seniors are separated in the 2nd Rounds and Championships. 1st - 5th in the 2nd Round qualify directly for the Trailblazer National Championships held in the first week in August 2011 at Stonleigh Park, Warwickshire. The championship is particularly well organised and is a great opportunity for unaffiliated riders to qualify and compete at a grand championships.

Horse Eligibility

Horses that are currently registered with BD or horses that have been registered within the preceding 12 months will not be allowed to compete at preliminary level with any BD points, Novice level with more than 37 points or Elementary level with more than 74 points
