Foxes Pony Club News

It’s been a fab week with our children campers who have all behaved themselves and hopefully had lots of fun. They all passed their eventing badge with flying colours. The kids went to an eventers yard Kristie and Mich Clinch in Willaston to be shown their tack for all 3 disciplines, air jackets etc a brilliant trip thank you xx
We’ve watched parts of the Olympics on catch up to see how the penalties work, x country ultimate time etc
Movie night watching Eddie the Eagle was great.
All survived the one day event today, including jumping x country in the rain!
A fab camp 2016 and enjoying a nice rest 😊

PROUND CENTRE ALERT. Tonight we hosted The Pony Club D,D+ and C+ test. It was a full house of passes. All 15 young equestrians sailed through each section to an above standard rate. Well done to all that took part. HAPPY INSTRUCTOR, PROUD PARENTS. Thank you to Louise Shepard From area 5 Pony club.

We welcomed Area 5 Pony Clubs, both branches and Centres to Foxes Riding School to take part in this Championship Qualifier. The competition is split into two sections; Junior and Senior. Senior and Junior teams make their way around different ‘stations’, each of which compromised of a different theory or practical based topic. Ten minutes were spent at each ‘station’, during which time the teams were asked a series of questions to be marked by the examiner. Read more on the Foxes News Blog

Pony Club Camp 2017

Calling all Pony club Campers, the countdown is on for this years Pony Club Day Camp and for all you young equestrians it’s the highlight of the Pony Club Calendar…

Pony Club Camp is all about learning horsemanship and care, meet new friends and Riding Skills over a fun packed four days.  John and Anna will be there to help support and improve your riding skills and learn more but having heaps of fun along the way!

The format is slightly different this year, as we have some building work being carried out over the summer we are not able to put on our usual full camp, BUT do not panic all it means is that you will not stay overnight at Foxes and will come on a daily basis from Tuesday 22nd August to Friday 25th August 2017… So you can expect all the same fun we have had over the past 4 years just without the sleep over.

Keep your eyes open for further updates on our Facebook page and on the Foxes Website, in May we will let you know more about the activities and what to expect, Anna and John love Pony Club Week so be ready to have an amazing week.

The cost will follow shortly but includes lunches and snacks through out the day, you can bring your own horse but must be a CENTRE PLUS member.
